David Taylor was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1941. He served a six-year apprenticeship with a photo engraving firm as a color etcher and engraver, studying at the North Melbourne Printing School of Graphic Arts. David applied what he learned about color and composition to his own watercolor work. He has received international recognition for his services to painting and teaching.

Allan Runagall

Alan Runagall is a founder member of the East Anglian Group of Marine Artists, and also a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists as well as the Wapping Group of Artists. He paints mainly in watercolour and has been a winner of the coveted St Cuthbert’s Mill Award for the best watercolour at the annual exhibition of the RSMA.

Nita Engle

"One of Americas watercolor landscape artists, Nita Engle has earned her place in American history as an artistic pioneer. A Michigan native born in 1926, Nita attended the Art Institute of Chicago for four years with affiliated study at both Northern Michigan University and Roosevelt University. First employed as a colorist, Nita worked her way into the position of art director with a Chicago area ad agency. But watercolors were her passion, and before long she started the transition of becoming a full-time illustrator in watercolor for major publications. Some of her early work ranged from covers of Reader's Digest to illustrations in Playboy. From the onset, Nita's work stood apart. But starting an art career in the 1940s wasn't easy. Especially in a field predominately dominated by men. Through the earlier days of her career, she simply signed her work, "N. Engle" so as not to disclose her gender. As time passed, so did the acceptance of women artists and Nita's work flourished."

Keiko Tanabe

"Keiko Tanabe is an award-winning watercolor artist. Her paintings have been juried into many exhibitions across North America and in Asia. Her work has been purchased by private collectors from all around the world.

Keiko was born in Kyoto, Japan. As a child growing up in an art-loving family, she always enjoyed drawing and painting and won many awards in children's art contests. However, art was not her chosen field of study later on. She earned a B.A. in intercultural communication (International Christian University, Tokyo, Japan) and an M.A. in international education (UCLA, California). She then worked in international relations positions in a Japanese government trade organization in Tokyo, at a large law firm in San Francisco and at a private consulting firm in San Diego. In the last 25 years, she has traveled extensively, mainly in European countries, Asia and North America."
